Good afternoon, church family. My hope is that all of you are well, healthy and safe and are reminded that you are loved and cared for by your United Baptist family. We are indeed experiencing unprecedented times, not just in our city and state, but all over the nation and the world. Yet, God is with us. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding during this unique moment in history. I'd like to share the following items that are designed to care for the utmost health and safety of our church and community, all while adhering to civic leadership re: social distancing because of the coronavirus. In light of the news surrounding this pandemic, Eddie (Properties), Dan (Safety), John & Denise (Deacon Co-Chairs) and I (your pastor) support the following 3 items and now share them with you.
1. All events and/or any in-person meetings at UBC are suspended until further notice.
2. Currently, the church office is opened during the week, M-Th 9am-1pm, and will remain open in the weeks ahead. You are free to call or stop by to drop off your offering/tithe during these timeframes. However, as a courtesy to others, remember social distancing when you arrive.
3. As it relates to giving we presently have 3 ways for you to give: mail in your offering to 5815 Murray Rd., W-S, NC 27106, stop by the church during normal business hours to give your offering, or give online by going to unitedbaptistonline.org and clicking on the Give tab.
May God continue to bring you encouragement through his Word in our phone tree devotionals, support through the Holy Spirit, and constant friendship through the compassionate love of Jesus Christ. We will continue to trust God and serve him together, spiritually, in the days ahead.
God bless you, beloved!
